ITM's Supply Chain division has been further strengthened with two new faces.

Brenda Frearson joined ITM in April to head up the Business Insights & Planning function within the Supply Chain division.

With a passion for retail, Brenda has held senior roles encompassing business planning, strategic insights, merchandise and supply chain planning, retail analytics and insights, and inventory optimisation.

Before joining ITM, Brenda’s experience has been gained in the UK and in two of New Zealand’s biggest retail companies, The Warehouse and Mitre 10.

Brenda’s goal is to build a high performing data- and insights-driven team, generating quality data, informative analytics, and actionable insights. These insights will be used to inform the end-to-end supply chain and wider ITM business optimisation, business planning, and the broader strategy.

Also new to the co-op, Graeme Wallace joined ITM as the new National Timber Category Manager in April.

Having been in the merchant side of the construction industry for over 20 years Graeme has been brought in to enhance the new ITM Supply Chain strategy from a category perspective and specifically for his timber knowledge in a co-op environment, having spent time with Carters, Mitre 10 and now ITM.

Graeme's early years were in retail management before moving into his true passion, the building industry.

Starting part-time in the drive-through for a green shed in Nelson, his career path has seen him wear many hats including IT roles, estimating and quoting, national pricing, drive-through design and optimisation, along with category roles – he has also pulled a few orders in his time.

In his new role as ITM's National Timber Category Manager, Graeme’s aim is to promote efficiencies through advanced inventory practices and analytics, while developing strong partnerships and synergies within the ITM Supply Chain, its supplier community and ITM member stores.
