Responding to popular demand, CE Lawford has been busy expanding its Hindley Carded Stainless Steel range. In 1897 Walter Hindley built his company with one cotter pin machine in Valley Falls, Rhode Island, on America’s East Coast.
Starting with cotter keys used by the steam railroads last century, the company now manufactures cotter pins for the aerospace industry as well as a wide range of quality wire hardware products in both zinc chromate and stainless steel. Links with the past continue to this day with the Hindley family continuing to run the company and still manufacturing in the Cumberland, Rhode Island, factory.
