With design and analysis input from one of NZ’s leading Universities, BRANZ and industry partners, Firth engineers have developed the RibRaft HotEdge slab edge insulation system. A fully integrated thermal edging system, unlike “bolt-on” alternatives, RibRaft HotEdge is placed inside RibRaft foundation boxing before the RaftMix concrete is poured. Evenly spaced tornado screws ensure HotEdge is structurally integrated within every floor slab for a seamless finished foundation system. RibRaft HotEdge is the first product of its type to provide a durable, high performance edge insulation system which is pre-plastered and includes corner armour protection to take the knocks that occur at foundation level.
