A light switch
but not as we know it

By NZHJ September 10, 2015 New Products

New to its Hue web-enabled LED home lighting ecosystem, the new Philips Hue Tap smart light switch is powered by kinetic energy (no batteries!) and can be mounted on the wall or left in a handy spot to control Hue lighting. Intended as an additional controller for times when your smartphone is on charge or the kids are playing with the tablet, each of Hue Tap’s 4 buttons can be programmed from the app to set a favourite scene or light recipe, or just to turn Hue on and off. Hue Tap requires the Hue bridge which is sold with the Philips Hue starter kit.
