Ex Foodstuffs, Jules Lloyd-Jones is the co-op's new General Manager Marketing, starting late July 2017.

Mitre 10 New Zealand has appointed Jules Lloyd-Jones as General Manager Marketing responsible for all national marketing initiatives across the Mitre 10 and Mitre 10 MEGA network.

Jules was Foodstuffs New Zealand's Group Brand Director for the last five years, but also has significant marketing and business experience across brands like Telstra Clear, Air New Zealand (where she helped drive Grabaseat and the branded content safety videos) and McDonald's.

As well as coming to Mitre 10 armed with "significant experience working in a co-operative environment", Mitre 10 CEO, Neil Cowie, says:  “Jules has an outstanding record of achievement, and is a strategic and creative marketer who brings significant experience in brand, sponsorship, digital and retail marketing."

Replacing Dave Elliott, who left to join True Value in the States (see our previous Movers & Shakers update here), Jules was New Zealand Marketer of the Year in 2015 and has served a two-year term as a member of the Marketing Association Board.
