Movers & shakers for August so far include changes at: Gardena, Mico, Fulton Hogan, Caroma & CARTERS.

David Geluk (right) has joined Husqvarna Group's Gardena and Consumer Brands as Territory Manager for the Lower North Island. David has built excellent relationships over the last five years with Karcher and is enjoying working with another premium German brand - Gardena - as well as strong brands such as Neta, McCulloch and Flymo. David's territory encompasses Taupo, Hastings, Wanganui down to Wellington.

Richard Doig is the new General Manager at Fletcher Distribution’s Mico Plumbing & Bathrooms business. Previously Fletcher Distribution’s GM of Group Technology across Australia and New Zealand, his CV also includes consulting for Royal Bank of Scotland, nine years at the ACC in Wellington in a variety of roles and seven years as a Royal New Zealand Navy officer. Richard replaces Bryn Harrison, who was announced as CEO of Carpet Court New Zealand in April.

Fulton Hogan having realigned its New Zealand leadership into two streams – Regional Business, and Construction – the company has appointed Graeme Johnson as CEO of NZ Regional Business and Domenic De-Fazio as CEO of NZ Construction. Taking over from Robert Jones, who stepped down at the end of June 2017, between them the two new CEOs have nearly 30 years’ experience within the company.

Mandy McNaughton-Hart is Caroma Industries NZ’s new South Island Trade Account Manager. Mandy comes to Caroma from the bathroom industry, prior to which she spent nine-plus years in recruitment, specialising in medical then moving into a more fast-paced role within the industrial temp market.

Also new to Caroma Industries NZ is Chloe Smith, Key Account Manager, Builders. Chloe was a Key Account Manager at Bartercard, where she spent six years working with a variety of different industries, before joining Caroma.

Greg Miller, Hammer Hardware National Manager over June 2015-June 2017, is now GM Southern Region for CARTERS.
