This new partnership will “create synergies that will benefit both distributors and end users of Dixbro and Brush Works product ranges”, including: account consolidation; access to EDI systems; abrasive technical expertise; access to application engineers; enhanced sales and customer service support; and increased focus on product development.
Paul Holland, Saint-Gobain’s New Zealand Country Manager, says: “Talus and Saint-Gobain have been working closely together for over 30 years and are thrilled to be distributing a New Zealand made quality product.
“The Dixbro and Brushworks brands alongside our Norton and Flexovit brands are synonymous with both the industrial and hardware markets and this partnership broadens our offering to all markets.”
HRV buys heat pump company
Home solutions company HRV continues its dynamic growth with the purchase of heat pump business Energy Efficient Solutions (EES) and parts manufacturer and distributor HVAC Hero, making it four acquisitions in two years.
The last two years has seen rapid growth for HRV, with group wide revenues expected to exceed $85 million this year courtesy of customer levels hitting 150,000, increased ventilation sales and high uptake of both HRV Water and HRV Windows.
The latest acquisition is part of HRV’s move towards becoming “a total home solutions company” and a focus on diversifying its product range, which now includes ventilation systems, whole home water filtration, and retrofit double glazing.
