Accent Tools has a trio of tremendous new products this month. First up is the WH18DBDL2(GX) 18V Brushless Triple Hammer Impact Driver. Billed as a world first triple hammer design, this new tool combines massive (207 Nm) tightening torque with superior control, thanks to its 4-mode selector ranging from 0-2,900 RPM, high performance brushless motor and new airflow system for optimal cooling efficiency. Then there’s Power Mode which, when enabled under heavy load, dramatically increases the impact energy by reducing the impact rate to 1.5 impacts per rotation and extends the interval between successive impacts. This mode is ideal for long or thick screws. The tool is also IP56 rated to protect against water ingress. Also available as a bare tool, the super-efficient new impact driver offers up to 4,000 screws on a single charge.
Also new is a pair of brushless rotary hammer drills. Model DH18DBL offers three modes (rotary drilling, hammer drilling or chiselling), consistent speed control, variable speed and reverse and 2.3J impact energy. With class leading drilling speed, DH18DBL also features Reactive Force Control, a safety feature which operates when the tool is suddenly jammed and prevents it twisting uncontrollably. DH18DBQLNN is the bare tool version which offers in addition quick release chuck and includes SDS+ and 13mm keyless chucks, while DH18DBQL comes with a 6.0Ah battery.
Both the new hammer drills and hammer impact driver are compatible with Hitachi’s fan-cooled rapid charging system that promises a 38-minute recharge with a 6.0 Ah battery and 32 minutes with a 5.0 Ah model.
