Stu Forster (left) is Bostik’s new Territory Manager for the Bay of Plenty/Waikato region including South Auckland and Franklin. With a background most recently in child safety products and in stationery before that which brought with it experience in the hardware channel whilst in the Stationery/craft industry, he says: “Bostik is a great career change and I jumped at the chance to represent the Bostik name and products due to the great quality and well-known brand.”
Steve Williamson (right) has joined the Simpson Strong-Tie team as South Island Area Manager working out of Christchurch. Having emigrated from England 4 years ago with experience in adhesives and PVC windows and, locally, fasteners in the South Island. He is “looking forward to representing the larger range of quality products Simpson Strong-Tie brings to market.”
It’s been a busy few months at AHM as it develops its product and sales teams. The new appointments are part of a growth drive that will also see a number of new products being launched alongside greater support for their retail customers. Below L-R: Adam Donnelly; Demelza Hillary; Andrew Rae.
Adam Donnelly is AHM’s new Sales & Product Assistant, a new role supporting the Key Accounts and Sales Team. Saying he’s “ready for a challenge”, Donnelly finds it exciting moving into such a competitive industry.
Demelza Hillary is Assistant Product Manager, another new role, supporting Rob Owens (Product Manager – Camping & Hardware). Having worked for Fonterra and Progressive Enterprises, she comes with strong FMCG knowledge and is excited to move into the Hardware industry with the opportunity in be exposed to different areas of a business.
Andrew Rae has been promoted to Assistant Product Manager, another new role to support Nico Pierik (Product Manager – Gardening). An AHM employee for three years, he has been AHM’s in-house Graphic Designer and then Marketing coordinator and is looking forward to getting hands-on with planning and product/brand management for the McGregor’s and Atlas Trade brands.
