In addition to releasing its Q1 results this morning, The Warehouse also revealed plans for its own prepay mobile and finance offerings.
First, Warehouse Mobile is adding to the Red Shed's already strong hold on the prepay mobile market with a new offering that's exclusive to The Warehouse (stores and online) from 23 November.
Its two key partners in Warehouse Mobile are 2degrees and Huawei. Pitched as "the simplest and most flexible prepaid offering in the market, ultimately connecting Kiwis for less", the scheme is quite distinct in its value offering from the successful current Noel Leeming smartphone pitch.
Warehouse Money is The Warehouse’s new financial services brand and has just launched with two new credit cards:
As part of Warehouse Money’s low cost promise, neither card will have establishment or annual fees.
At launch, five insurance products are also available: travel and health insurances, both from nib and car, home and contents insurance, all from Vero.
Warehouse Money products and services will be available online, through the post and over the phone, and customers will be able to get information at any Red Shed.
