TWG GEARS UP FOR BIGGEST WEEK OF THE YEAR

The Warehouse Group (TWG) predicts this week will be its biggest ever online, says NZ$6m+ will be spent across its 7 websites.

Some figures to illustrate TWG's online progress:

  • According to Nielsen, 1 million plus New Zealanders visit The Warehouse Group’s sites each month with more to come this peak season.
  • In December 2014, a product was shipped from The Warehouse Group every 4 seconds; this year that rate is expected to increase to one product every 3.5 seconds.
  • New Zealand online sales at The Warehouse Group have grown from $18.8m in 2011 to $149.2m in 2015.
  • Click & collect is currently being used by 40% of online shoppers at Noel Leeming and 30% of customers shopping online at The Warehouse.
